Rogaine. Anyone tried it?

Got a receding hairline...not too bad but another 2 or 3 years. Trying to prevent it from going to far. Not balding on top...anyone tried rogaine, propecia, etc.?

I also heard that Rogaine only works on the top of the scalp for pattern baldness, not for receding hairlines..is that true...?

I'd start on Propecia - that's what I did about 8 years ago - last year I switched to Avodart when the propecia was not working - I have a full head of hair - but if you do nothing it will get worse in a hurry.
